about this

Andrea Giorgio Moretti, born in Rivoli, Turin, in 1984. Graduated in architecture from the Polytechnic University of Turin. A technical restorer specializing in the conservation of archaeological ceramic heritage.

His research focuses on the exploration of the self. A journey into the inner world, in close relationship with the external world, art, and technology.

Through photographic experimentation, he creates a kaleidoscope of overlapping images that unveil his essence.

The “photo of the day” pieces are characterized by an intense use of color and light. The images are often overlaid and/or distorted, seeking a balance between tranquility and restlessness. It is a work that is simultaneously personal and universal, speaking of the human experience in a profound and poetic manner.

Photography serves as a means to testify to a vision. The camera becomes a brush, art the tubes of color, and the soul the canvas. The “photo of the day” is a journey that lays bare the gaze upon oneself and the world. For the world, it is an invitation to explore inner depths, to look inside ourselves and experiment with self-discovery.

So far, so close.
